ABOUT RACE-THE-STATE

 Race the State utilizes the geography of the state the race takes place in to create a truly unique event. Starting in Little Compton and finishing in Westerly, Race the State spans 52 miles! Competing in Race the State is not only a test of endurance, but also of logistics. Having a support crew is a must if you’re competing as an individual. If you’re in a relay, how and where your teammates are will make all the difference in your performance.
Race the State Rhode Island is made up of 5 legs:
Leg 1: 6-mile run
Leg 2: 1-mile SUP
Leg 3: 10 mile run
Leg 4: 5.6 mile kayak
Leg 5: 29.5 mile bike.
Race the State can be run as an individual or 2, 3 or 4-person relay.
How Much Does It Cost?
It depends, are you racing as a team or an individual. The pricing breakdown per person is below.
Individual – $120
2-Person Relay – $89
3-Person Relay – $77
4-Person Relay – $65
